Hi Readers,
There has been a lot going on for me lately and I’m excited about all of it! This week’s blog post will be a brief update about my author/freelance life.
First, if you follow me on social media, then you most likely have noticed that I’ve been trying to grow my freelance business. For the past few months, I’ve been offering freelance editing, beta reading, and content writing services. I’ve been staying quite busy with freelance work and I’m really enjoying helping other authors with their books. It’s something I’m passionate about, so I feel grateful that I have this opportunity. I’m now booking well into March, so if you would like to hire me for beta reading, editing, or content writing, please reach out soon!
Another exciting update is that my debut psychological thriller book, The Long Shadow on the Stage, will be featured in The Indie Bookworm’s book subscription box in March. As an indie author, having my book featured in a book box is something I dreamed about, so I’m ecstatic about this accomplishment. If you want to order the book box, you can check it out here. If you’re wondering what will be in the book box, there will be a signed paperback of The Long Shadow on the Stage, as well as several bookish goodies centered around the theme “all-nighter.” Also, if you order by 02/28, you can receive $5 off with the code ALLNIGHTER.
My last update is regarding Book 2 in my psychological thriller series, which is tentatively titled The Long Shadow of Remembrance. I only have a few chapters left to edit, then I’ll be done with Draft 3. After this round of editing, I’ll be sending the manuscript to my beta readers, which I hope to do next week! I’m aiming for a publication date during the summer, but won’t be announcing the official date until I’m certain I can make it happen.
Thank you all for your loyalty and support!
