About
Hi, my name is Nichole Heydenburg. I'm the owner and editor of Poisoned Ink Press.

If you're wondering why you should trust me with your manuscript, here's a bit about my background and qualifications.

-
In 2014, I earned a BA in English with an emphasis in writing and graduated with honors.
-
In college, I was the President of the Pen and Ink Society (a writing club), worked as a writing tutor for three years, and I was also a staff member of the Oxcart Magazine on campus.
-
After college, I worked various writing and editing-related jobs, including working as a standardized test evaluator and an office manager.
-
In 2017, I started a new position as the Content Manager for a start-up company. I worked in that role for over three years. I wrote and edited all the content for the company's websites, blogs, and social media.
-
In January 2021, I quit my full-time job and started Poisoned Ink Press, so I've been a full-time editor for over three years now.
